II love arroz blanco! Every time we go to a Mexican restaurant, I ask for it. Unfortunately, not all of them serve it, and most only have the red version. But I think arroz blanco goes with everything, especially dishes with some kind of sauce or gravy. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe :)

I found this recipe when looking for a different take on rice. It looked good and not too difficult, so I tried it, and it was a real success. My wife loved it. She said like 3 times that I must redo it!
For next time I’m going to try find real Mexican rice

In reply to Raquel. Hi Raquel. Yes, it will take a bit longer to cook, however, make sure you don't uncover the pan until at least 15 minutes have passed, then uncover and check up if it needs more stock. I made this white rice for 12 people and there wasn't much difference in cooking time.
