Oh I didn’t know there’s a TV series of Como Agua Para Chocolate! I love that book and the movie was amazing :)

I don’t know what type of bread Tita from the series made, but you can use baguette or bolillo.

I was watching the series Como Agua Para Chocolate and Tita made this dessert, it looked so good and I found myself here :) but she was making the bread herself by mixing cream and egg yolks. Do you know the exact recipe for that bread?

I loved the torrejas, my husband not too much, he said they were overly sweet. But np, more for me haha
